We are all quarantined from the dreadful Coronavirus, so I have been fighting the cabin fever with creating some Easter cheer. Little bunnies and little girls…together, little bunny girls. Hope you find some happy in your day today!

Delivered a new batch of dolls in town to Sunnyroad Interiors for the Christmas season.  On top of their regular business, they are busy repairing clients’ furniture damaged in the hurricane.  I asked lots of questions as to how they do it.  It’s amazing to see.

I just finished the Circus collection this past weekend.  Hope you enjoy the bright fabrics and whimsical designs!  If you look closely, you can figure out what circus animal the girls are dressed up as… 

How do you get a child excited about reading?  Give them a buddy to read to!  A little pack of Kelley Corbett Dolls has made its way to Florida to “camp out” in the classroom with a little group of first graders.  Happy reading!

I’m very excited to announce that Kelley Corbett dolls have found a new home.  They will now be available for purchase at SunnyRoad Interiors Design Center in Houston. The store is located on Fondren just south of Westheimer.  SunnyRoad offers services in every aspect of beautifying your home, and I am so excited that my dolls have a new spot in their store. So excited.  I found these fabrics this past weekend. I can’t wait to turn them into dolls!  Love the ginghams!

It is that time of year.  One of the most exciting times of the year.  Throughout the year, I sew dolls, and then at the end of November, I package them up and send them somewhere in the world to find sweet little girls for Christmas.  This year, Operation Christmas Child will deliver twenty four boxes full of Kelley Corbett dolls, peppermint sticks, coloring books, and colors to these girls.  In the past, they have found little girls in Honduras, Macedonia, and Ecuador.  Hopefully, the dolls this year will be the little girls’ new best friends and together, they will share many adventures!

After a long journey, I am happy to say that twenty five Kelley Corbett Dolls have started their adventures.  Ten have made it to Macedonia!  Taken on a grand adventure by Operation Christmas Child, these dolls along with tons of other gifts have made it all the way to Madedonia to brighten the days of little girls.   Also, fifteen dolls are staying here at home in Houston to have an adventure with a group of girls through the San jose Clinic.  I hope these dolls brighten the days of these little girls!

Exciting news! Kelley Corbett Dolls are headed to Fulshear! Fulshear is the latest and greatest place west of downtown Houston. With all of the growth hitting the great city of Houston, Katy is bulging at the seams and the quiet city of Fulshear is becoming not so quiet. If you haven’t had a chance to check it out, it is a wonderful Sunday afternoon drive. Just last weekend, my family headed out to explore the new neighborhoods cropping up. We then headed over to the town square where there are some lovely boutique shops and a fun mexican restaurant. And with Stephanie’s Dance Studio One opening up a new location, the Kelley Corbett Dolls will now be available in Fulshear as well as in Katy. Congratulations to Stephanie on the grand opening this month of her new dance studio. Lots of fun days ahead for lots of little girls!
